This page is still a work-in-progress. Here are some of my cosplays in reverse chronological order:
A photograph of a woman cosplaying Spamton G. Spamton from Deltarune. She has on a messy black wig brushed back off her forehead, a pair of pink and yellow dealmakers, and a Spamton mask with a gorgeously-sized nose. She wears two clashing botwies (one hanging haphazardly off her neck), a ratty back blazer, a pajama shirt open down the front, and a pair of white dress gloves. She hangs onto some chains in the foreground. Behind her is a utilitarian passageway, painted over with layers in the colours of the basement in Queen's mansion in order to provide darkness, and make Spamton appear as if he's glowing. The photograph has been cropped and turned into a Polaroid in Gimp, with the words 'Spamton G. Spamton' signed in green text at the bottom, with vertical slashes through the S's to make them appear like dollar signs. Here is my Spamton G. Spamton cosplay from July 2026. It's primarily a "closet cosplay". I cut and styled the wig, and the mask is a painted Vogmask with a nose made from coutil covered with linen. The bowties, jacket, shirt, sweatpants, and shoes were all from the thrift store. I already owned the gloves, sports bra, and tights. The eyeglasses are prescription, so I can actually see out of them, which is wonderful! They're custom sunglasses from Yesglasses; I did have to contact customer service, as they didn't have an option to order two different coloured frames on their website.
A Ralsei cosplayer lays splatted on the floor beside another Ralsei cosplayer. The photograph has been signed with the name 'Ralsei' in mint green ink with a fuschia heart above the 'i'. This is my Ralsei cosplay from October 2025. The horn base is a metal pair of Maleificent horns from Spirit Halloween. I made the covers with leftover fabric from another project cut on the bias. The wig is from Arda Wigs. My glasses and mask (not pictured here) are from Zenni optical (prescription, so I can actually see out of them) and Vogmask. The scarf is made from velveteen-textured fabric that I found at the thrift store, and sewed into a tube inside-out before flipping rightsie out to finish. The tunic is an upcycled blanket with a heart patch pocket made from scrap canvas. There's also a mint-coloured underdress, which was a cotton dress from the thrift that I shortened significantly. It has an upside-down spade shaped patch pocket made from scrap canvas. The long-sleeved black sweater, an exercise skort for modesty, white tights, and white cotton parade gloves were all items I already had in my closet. The shoes were ballet flats bought online last-minute, which I added padding to as they rubbed against my heels horribly.
A woman sits in front of some foliage. Wind blows, fluttering loose pieces of her hair even though the bulk of it is styled in a bun. She's tilted away from the camera, yet glances back at it. Numbers are visible on her neck, and she's dressed in an old-fashioned looking navy blue dress. She wears a blouse with a stiff collar underneath it for formality. Finishing off her outfit is a ruffly apron. The photograph is framed to look like a polaroid, with the character's name – Isabella in English – written as イザベラ in katakana. A purple was chosen for the signature, as a reference to Isabella's eyes. This is my cosplay of Isabella from The Promised Neverland. It was the most last-minute cosplay I've ever thrown together. So I was already at a convention out of state, and there was a section with free costume pieces for anyone to take. I ended up picking out the dress, the apron, and a pair of black shoes that were difficult to walk in there, at the convention. I combined them with my Mary Saotome undershirt, and finishing up the styling by wearing my hair in a bun and writing Isabella's numbers in my neck with some black eyeliner from Bellaphoria. I am quite impressed with it, considering how absolutely spur the moment/completely up to chance that this costume was.
A young woman cosplays Mary Saotome from from Kakegurui. She has a blonde wig worn in pigtails tied with black ribbons, and wears a red cardigan, a white button up with a ribbon at the neckline ,a grey skirt, blue knee-high stockings, and brown shoes. She kneels on the ground of a formal room, picking up Ririka's mask. A woman cosplaying Ririka has been partially cropped out of the photo to protect her identity. The original image has been framed with a polaroid, which is signed at the bottom. The Kanji '早乙女芽亜里' (Mary Saotome in English) are written in red pen, to match with Mary's school uniform. I cosplayed Mary Saotome from Kakegurui back in college.

The wig was originally a curly wig from Spirit Halloween, which was a very ambitious choice for me to style, but it's what I had available to work with at the time. The cardigan is from the thrift store, and the shirt, skirt, shoes, and socks were items I already had in my closet.

While I am proud of what I accomplished on a shoestring budget, it's not the most recognizable cosplay. I kept getting mistaken for Heather Chandler from the Heathers when I wore it.
A woman cosplaying Kurapika rests her hand on a woman cosplaying Senritsu's shoulder. Kurapika wears a blonde wig, has blue-rimmed eyeglasses, and is dressed in a tunic and undershirt made of home-dyed linen. The outfit is accessorized with a single purple earring, and a metal chain on the woman's right hand. Senritsu has a bald cap adorned with long brown hair, and wears a greige poncho. The original background has been edited out and replaced with a photograph of a mezzanine with large glass windows in the background, letting in light and the image of a rainy city. The photograph's been edited to look like a polaroid, and has been signed at the bottom with 'センリツ (Melody)' and 'クラピカ (Kurapika)', which have been colour-coded to better signify which name is referring to which character. In spring of 2018 I watched the 1990s version of Hunter x Hunter and greatly enjoyed the series. I decided to cosplay Kurapika from it, and my sister agreed to cosplay as Senritsu from the same series. I ended up entering Kurapika into a cosplay contest in July 2018, and won an award for Judge's choice! I'm very proud of this costume, though it was quite the learning experience.

The wig was bought from some party store, the glasses were my normal eyeglasses (very grateful that they were blue at the time!) and the earring I made myself in a rather fragile manner combining an old necklace with a clip-on earring base. The chain was bought at the convention of the day of, and the shoes were blue boat shoes from Walmart that I got for a very reasonable price. The entire rest of the cosplay was HAND-DYED linen. I knew I wanted to make the cosplay from linen, both due to the texture & because I felt like it would work well for Kurapika's character. Unfortunately, JoAnn's only had linen in white. So I had to dye seafoam, blue, yellow, purple, and black fabric. Then I ended up patterning the entire thing MYSELF. Again, this was a VERY ambitious project. I was machine sewing up until I had to leave for the convention. I ended up hand-sewing the last of the hooks and eyes that close the front of the tabard in the hotel room the night before.

I spent a lot less time on Senritsu/Melody, which my sister wasn't the most pleased by. I made the wig myself, sewing wefts from Arda wigs onto a piece of brown felt and then attaching some clear elastic straps to it. I had my sister wear it over a bald cap. The poncho was all cut out of one piece of fabric that was faux-leather on the underside if I recall correctly, which gave it some body. The green dress she wore uh... was NOT my best work and fell apart right away. I'm not sure how much of this costume we still have. It was wearable for the convention itself, which is what matters.
A woman wearing a storebought Tsunade cosplay stands next to a Jiraiya cosplayer, whose head has been cropped out of the frame for privacy. The background has been blurred out in GIMP. The photograph has been framed to look like a polaroid, and is signed with the name '綱手' (Tsunade in English) in green ink. This costume was entirely storebought. I haven't watched much Naruto, and honestly didn't know enough about Tsunade to do her character justice.
From left to right, a Gary cosplayer, a Mary Cosplayer, and an Ib cosplayer from the Indie RPG 'Ib' stand side by side. All three of them hold roses. The original background has been removed and replaced with a cropped photograph of a backdrop from a museum exhibit. It's got a painted look and was chosen to harken back to the art museum setting of the original game. The image has been edited in GIMP to look like a polaroid photo, and the names ギャリ/Garry, メアリ/Mary, and イヴ/Ib are written in colour co-ordinated ink below the characters on the white frame. Mary's partially cover's Garry's, reflecting her character's actions. Here's me cosplaying Ib and my sister cosplaying Mary from the Indie RPG game "Ib". My outfit was entirely a closet cosplay, but I did make Mary's dress. It... was not my best work. I tried to make something without visible seams down the front and figuring out the back closure method was a nightmare. It did not hold up well. I don't think we still have it. I chose this pic to represent the costumes, as we got a Garry to pose with us!
A (presumed) lady wearing a pink gown stands at the foot of a grand staircase, turned away from the viewer and covering her mouth with a gloved hand. One eye faces the camera. The portrait's been framed by an old-fashioned wooden picture frame. The oilify artistic filter in GIMP has been applied to turn the photo into a painting. This was my Ciel Phantomhive cosplay. It's from episode 4 of Black Butler. This was a very ambitious project, and I learned a great deal along the way. Like the importance of finishing seams properly so that your project doesn't fall apart in the wash. 🙃
A woman cosplaying as Alphys from Undertale stands leaned up against a railing in a fancy venue. She wears a curly, bright-yellow wig, purple-rimmed eyeglasses, a yellow and white polka-dotted dress covered with a labcoat, and yellow gloves. A lanyard hangs from her neck with a sticker of Alphys and the word 'Nerd' on it, perler bead art of Alphys hanging from her neck to show what character she was to the world, and her labcoat is adorned with Undertale pins. Her face and neck are coloured with yellow face paint, and teeth have been drawn over her lower lip to mimic Alphys's buck-toothed smile. Her eyebrows have been filled in with black, and her eyelashes enhanced in order to mimic Alphys's cartoony look. The picture is surrounded by a polaroid frame, and signed with 'Dr. Alphys' in yellow pencil. I used to cosplay as Alphys from Undertale. This costume made me very happy as yellow is my favourite colour.
You can tell that this is an older costume because of the face paint. I miss being able to express myself with it terribly; but such is life.
Anywho, she was a great deal of fun because I'm short and a bit awkward IRL, lol. The wig was from Spirit Halloween, the glasses were my real eyeglasses at the time, and the dress, shoes, gloves, and labcoat were all storebought. I did make the perler bead accessory, though! I am very proud of how this turned out for more or less being a closet cosplay.
A photograph of The Great Papyrus, who bows and holds out his hand. A snowy scene is in the background, meant to evoke Snowdin. The photo is signed in his signature font. I loved cosplaying Papyrus, but I had to stop due to my allergies. :( He was so much fun!
I made his shirt by cropping a long-sleeved shirt and sewing it onto a camisole to get the "poofy" look of his armor, and the insignia on his chest was hand-embroidered directly onto it with red thread. The shorts were originally white which I dyed blue. The black undershirt and leggings were painted white with acrylic paint (not a great choice, it made washing them a nightmare!). The boots were just plain red rainboots adorned with black tape. The gloves were storebought, and the scarf was a red table runner from the thrift store. The gold accoutrements were ribbon, and I made a little Papyrus out of fuse beads to help indicate who I was cosplaying as. I'd get confused for Skeletor sometimes, lol.
